Financial Analyst, Sr Manager Performs economic research and studies of rates of return, depreciation and investments. Analyzes profit-and-loss income statements and prepares reports and recommendations to management. Generates forecasts and analyzes trends in sales, finance and other areas of business. Researches economic progressions to assist the organization's financial planning. Creates financial models of "what if" scenarios for future business planning decisions in areas such as new product development, new marketing strategies, etc.

Responsibilities

Remote position

• Responsible for the preparation, coordination, and documentation of more complex financial analysis projects such as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, and investments.
• Provides analysis for forward-looking financial and business-related projects.
• Prepares forecasts and analysis of trends in manufacturing, sales, finance, general business conditions, and other related areas.
• Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management.
• May conduct special financial and business-related studies and cooperates with other departments in the preparation of analyses.
• Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately.
• Performs financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
• Consistent exercise of discretion & judgment
• Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field
• Uses advanced techniques, theories, and processes to complete work
• Leads others to solve complex problems
• Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations
• May lead functional teams or projects

• Translates and implements functional policies and programs
• May have responsibility for own function at a site

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

• Associates Degree, Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/ or Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related degree preferred
• 8-10 years prior experience in similar position
