Insight Global is looking for a Fire Alarm Technician II to join their service and inspection division to assist their commercial and industrial clients. This department services fire alarms (50% of business),extinguishers (20% of business), suppression (10% of business), and access control/security (10%). This resource will be responsible for reporting on deficiencies found during inspections, draft up prescribed service work for client review, and perform services as needed. Examples of service work below.
- Fire Alarm -- replace old fire alarm panels
- Extinguishers -- replacements of old extinguishers
- Suppression --

o Hoods in restaurants

o IT rooms, Airplane hangers -- foam based systems

Required Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years of experience within fire alarm and/or suppression maintenance or inspection

o Previous experience as a foreman or Sr. Technician
- Ability to read blueprints
- Punctual
- Strong written and verbal communication -- will be responsible for writing up inspection reports and prescribing service work
- NICET Fire Alarm 1 or desire to pursue certifications
- MUST have a clean record -- no violent or aggressive misdemeanors
- MUST have a clean driving record: no DUIs, super speeders within 3 years

o Company vehicle will be provided
- MUST be able to pass a drug test
