Division Description
The Fiscal Services Division is responsible for safeguarding the California Housing Finance Agency's (CalHFA) cash and investments and provides financial information to the executive team that is vital to the management of the Agency's products and programs. Each year Fiscal Services Division works with an independent accounting firm to prepare the audit of the Agency's financial data. The Fiscal Services Division is comprised of five units, Operating, Budgets and Insurance, Financial Reporting and Bond Administration, Single Family Accounting, Multifamily Accounting, and Special Projects Unit.
Position Description
Under general supervision of the Financial Accountant II, the Information Technology Associate (ITA) assists in the implementation and updating of Fiscal Services Systems and applications which range from custom in-house systems to several Commercial Off-the-Shelf systems.

CalHFA is a high-rise building conveniently located in downtown Sacramento with access to public transportation (light rail and bus) and freeways (I-5, 99, and Business 80). Successfully complete the competitive State civil service exam for the classification Information Technology Associate exam.
OR
BE TRANSFER ELIGIBLE:
Have current employment with the State of California in the same classification or in a classification that is comparable (employees who wish to be considered based on transfer eligibility must meet the minimum qualifications of the classification per DPA Rule 250)
OR
BE REINSTATEMENT ELIGIBLE :
Have obtained previous permanent employment with the State of California in the same classification or in a classification that is comparable.
