A waste management client of Insight Global is looking for a Fleet Maintenance Manager to join the team at their Jersey City location. We are looking for an individual that possesses strong leadership skills, effective communication skills, and a desire to make positive change in a growing organizations.

Individuals should come from a hands-on mechanical background working on large vehicles as well as experience managing a shop including maintenance technicians, supervisors, shop managers and admins. You should have a strong understanding of how to prioritize issues on the trucks to get them returned to the field while also maintaining high quality safety.

You will be responsible for the P&L of the shop, developing your direct reports, providing feedback to your mechanics and ensure the highest quality of work is being completed. This will be onsite five days a week with an occasional night or overnight shift.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience working in a mechanic leadership role
- Experience managing inventory and P&L
- Understanding of DOT and OSHA compliance

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- waste management experience
