Our Team

What You Will Do
- Use statistical methods, data analysis and Root Cause methodologies to improve production processes and lower cost
- Troubleshoot problems that occur during the manufacturing process of float glass
- Document standard operating procedures and training guidelines
- Establish operating parameters for existing processes, continuous improvement and proven practices
- Lead complex projects in a collaborative, team-based manufacturing environment
- Partner with suppliers and customers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Train production operators and work collaboratively to improve processes
- Travel up to 10% (Domestic, international on rare occasion)
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience as an engineer in a manufacturing facility
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (macros)
- Experience with inventory control and raw materials management
What Will Put You Ahead
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing or Ceramic Engineering
- Experience managing complex projects and implementing corrective actions
- Experience with float glass manufacturing processes
- Proven track record of cost reduction activities
