Just three years after unveiling its 187,000-square-foot Global Home in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, the PGA TOUR is set to integrate the latest cutting-edge media production technologies at PGA TOUR Studios, a three-level facility adjacent to the Global Home. The futuristic 165,000-square-foot media facility - home to the largest golf footage library in the world - will house all PGA TOUR Media operations, including live production for PGA TOUR LIVE, PGA TOUR Champions and Korn Ferry Tour, as well as the social media, digital operations and international media.

The PGA TOUR Digital Media Café Food and Beverage Manager is primarily responsible for the management of the Barista/Cashier team. This position reports directly to the Chef Director. This is an integral position that serves in a capacity to motivate, empower, and lead our team of Tour Café associates. You will lead by providing exceptional experiences for TOUR Staff, while ensuring the highest quality of service and product is delivered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Have a strong, highly visible, and respectful presence with the PGA TOUR Global Home Staff and Executive Team, be an exceptional communicator.
  • Have adept interpersonal skills, and the maturity to instinctively know how to treat PGA TOUR Staff, players, and clients with a high-level of service. Be able to communicate these expectations to a staff with diverse backgrounds and motivate them positively to understand and execute those expectations.
  • Oversee all areas of Café to ensure smooth operations, high levels of TOUR Staff satisfaction, quality food products, and exemplary service in conjunction with the Chef Director.
  • Oversee and coordinate all in-house corporate catering functions and event orders in conjunction with Chef Director
  • Establish and uphold expectations of service standards, dress, decorum and consistently monitor for adherence always.
  • Be a focused and consistent evaluator of personnel, ensuring that standards of conduct and delivery are met; this includes oversight of high standards of appearance, hospitality, service, and cleanliness of the TOUR Café
  • Hold weekly meetings, and daily briefings with staff to keep them informed of daily updates to all relevant service information.
  • Have a strong sense of urgency and responsiveness while maintaining quality and integrity according to PGA TOUR guidelines and culture.
  • Ensure effective staffing and scheduling of Barista/Cashier staff.
  • Daily input of pricing and menu updates into POS system as well as digital menu displays.
  • Completion of any necessary daily sales reporting
  • Take personal ownership of "front of house" TOUR Café appearance and service.
  • Ensure that an effective orientation and onboarding program exists in all areas of responsibility, along with consistent development and training
  • Consistently coordinate with Chef Director on payroll and labor resource allocations to ensure they are in line with budget goals.
  • Be a collaborative team player who is willing to be "hands on" when necessary but understands when to step back and lead the team.
  • Assist with the purchasing and coordination of non-food and food and beverage supplies
  • Conduct monthly inventory and cost of sale/goods analysis in accordance with budget
  • Recommend, monitor and manage policies, operating procedures and staffing for all F & B areas; recognize the needs and consistently perform to high levels of service in each of these operating areas
  • Conduct and/or oversee training programs for food service personnel in various areas including service techniques, knowledge of menu items and specials, sanitation, team building and conflict resolution; regularly test and evaluate knowledge and understanding of these expectations.
  • Ensure that associates clearly understand performance expectations and that assigned tasks are reasonable, well-conceived and appropriately conveyed. Provide resources necessary to allow employees to perform their jobs effectively and create an exceptional experience for PGA TOUR Staff, players, and clients


Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Must be able to frequently sit, stand, bend, use hands to, handle, or feel; and talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, work with sharp knives and other objects, crawl and walk.
  • Ability to lift, up to 50 lbs., and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, and extreme heat.
  • The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and risk of electrical shock.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
