Job Description

ROTATING SHIFT

SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Confer with managers for on-going activities and Menu changes.
  • Review master time and work schedules for employees.
  • Prepare employee daily work assignment sheet.
  • Record refrigerators, freezers and dish machine temperatures.
  • Record Ph of sanitizer for Pot sink and dispenser bottles.
  • Document call in and make schedule adjustment.
  • Responsible for tray line meal service following established guidelines.
  • Conduct pre-meal service meeting.
  • Record food temperature as per HACCP temperature requirements.
  • Check tray line meal service for tray accuracy as per established guidelines.
  • Monitor late tray assembly and delivery timeliness.
  • Monitor employees work assignment for completeness.
  • Responsible for preparing service aide performance evaluation and validation of competencies.
  • Participate in down time procedure during EPIC failure.
  • Attend in services, trainings, and department meetings.
  • Perform related job task as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications
1. A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent; and, (a) completion of a ninety-hour course in food service supervision approved by the American Dietetic Association or the New York State Department of Education, and two years full-time experience in quantity food preparation and/or service; or, (b) completion of a two-year Dietetic Technician training program approved by the American Dietetic Association; or,
2. A satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
