We are looking for a Freelance Product Development Coordinator for a top fashion company in New York, New York.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for tracking and reporting sample yardage and garment sample readiness, working with cross-functional partners i.e. Design, Product Development, Raw Materials to problem-solve and/or propose solves to improve ready dates
• Acts as point person on development details with vendor partners
• Creates and updates seasonal composite sheets and classification charts
• Coordinates work flow of weekly updates to ensure composites are used as a timely communication tool with vendors, production, technical and merchandising
• Tracks development to assure execution is within timeframes
• Communicates design development details
• Requires constant follow-up and communication with vendors and suppliers, gathering information to bring back to internal partners

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years product development/ raw material experience
• Detail oriented, organized and team player
• Centric PLM experience required
