A financial firm is looking for a Front Office Development Lead (Python) to join their team in New York, NY.

Compensation: $200-250k

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science (or another science or engineering discipline)
  • 3 years of experience leading a team of engineers
  • 10 years of experience working within finance in a front office environment
  • Extensive knowledge of commodities (power, gas, oil)
  • Experience leading a experienced and highly technical quant dev/software engineering team
  • In depth knowledge of commodities and trading
  • Experience of building supply and demand based fundamental models
  • Experience with modern software development practice
  • Strongcommunication skills
  • Strong knowledge of Python including scientific libraries (pandas, numpy, scipy, etc)
  • SQL database knowledge is required
  • 3 years hands on development experience working directly with PM's and traders preferred
