Full Stack Python Developer

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Python/Django Developer with Azure exposure. This role is ideal for a highly skilled developer with a strong focus on backend development (70% Python/Django) and frontend expertise in React (30%). The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and deploying scalable applications within an Azure environment, working closely with various interconnected Azure components.

Title: Full Stack Python/Django Developer
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Hybrid: 2 days onsite, 3 remote
Contract: 6-12 Months
Pay: $75-$80/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop highly scalable applications using the Python/Django framework.
• Create and deploy applications within the Azure environment, utilizing various Azure services.
• Enhance and maintain front-end applications using React, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in code.
• Implement user authentication and authorization across multiple systems, servers, and environments.
• Ensure that code meets the highest standards, including writing unit tests and adhering to technical specifications.
• Utilize Power BI tools (desirable but not required).
• Document key aspects of projects, including architecture and process flows.
• Collaborate effectively within a team and work independently as needed.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a developer in Python/Django, with significant exposure to React.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.
• Proficient in conducting independent research to solve problems and enhance project outcomes.
• Strong team collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A self-starter with the ability to multitask and maintain momentum in a fast-paced environment.
