Pay
This position is an exempt position at pay grade 211.
Attendance
Rotating 40-hour work week to include evenings and weekends. Must be available to work additional hours as needed.

Overview
Under the direction of the P&M Superintendent, the work coordinator will perform essential duties and responsibilities for the training and supervision of the P&M technicians performing daily operations and maintenance of gas regulators stations, purchase points, odorant stations, scada, and commercial meters. Along with the day to day operations, the Work Coordinator will ensure all stations and meter runs are within compliance of the O&M Plan and documented for annual inspection. The work coordinator also coordinates field work with other departments and make recommendations for improvements.
Responsibilities
• Supervises staff engaged in the daily operations of regulator stations and purchase points
• Ensure gas quality is in compliance with gas contract and that commercial gas accounts are being serviced
• Scheduling and tracking in Maximo WO
• Ensures all technicians are trained and developed to ensure the employees are conducting quality work in a safe and efficient manner and in accordance with O&M and best industry standards
• Make sure employees understand Department Standards Operating Procedures and documentation is recorded and logged as applicable RRC/ PHMSA Rules and Regulations
• Manage workflow
• Monitors equipment, materials, and supplies inventories needed by technicians to complete their daily tasks
• Ensure jobs are tagged with materials and requests are approved through proper channels in info and tracked cost in Maximo
• Ensure technicians keep up with equipment daily inspections and maintenance as well as station conditions in compliance with O&M
• Daily monitoring of overall Scada functionality
• Manage the purchasing and inventory of needed materials
• Estimate projects and materials needed for regulator replacement and meter maintenance projects
• Reviews and approved Procurement Card purchases (P- Card)
• May be asked to perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Requires a Bachelor' s Degree (BA/ BS)
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience
• A combination of education and pertinent experience may be considered
• A valid driver's license is required; successful out-of-state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire

Basis of Rating
Application review and the City may also conduct additional skill assessment tests, in addition to the panel interview.
