Chipton-Ross is seeking a General Laborer III for a contract opportunity in Gainesville, TX.

This position is 100% onsite.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
o At least three years of experience in a production environment.
o Two years of prior lead or supervisory experience preferred.
o FAA Repairman Certification required within ninety (90) days of employment. FAA A&P will also satisfy certification requirement
o Knowledge of FAA Part 145 Repair Station Statutes.

HARD REQUIREMENTS:
o Must have knowledge of MRP systems, scheduling, and blueprints.
o Must have the ability to direct and motivate other employees.
o Must have knowledge of bargaining agreement or willingness to learn.
o Must be computer literate.
o MAPICS experience preferred.
o Must have the ability to generate written communication and to operate required office equipment.
o Ability to read and review written communication.
o Speech and hearing abilities that allow individual to communicate clearly and distinctly in English.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintains an optimum flow of production through the repair station in order to reach targets of On Time Delivery and On Quality Delivery.
Actively promotes safety in all aspects in the repair station.
Provides training to all employees and ensures each one understands his or her job responsibilities. Cross-trains employees for added efficiency.
Develops and maintains strong positive communications and working relations with all employees. Ensures all complaints and pre-grievances are thoroughly handled with each employee.
May conduct or direct in-process and final inspections of all work accomplished within assigned area in accordance with FAA regulations.
Supervises labor and material to maintain a positive variance against hazards.
Actively involves all employees in taking corrective action to achieve high levels of product quality to meet and exceed quality standards.
Creates an atmosphere for development of new concepts, ideas and methods to support continuous improvement in the department or work cell.

Maintains a high quality of workmanship and assumes responsibility for work performed in assigned duties.
Responsible for accurate timekeeping records of employees.
Responsible for implementation or continuous improvements upon Lean Manufacturing.
Responsible for adherence to FAA regulations and perform duties and responsibilities as outlined in the Repair Station Quality Control Manual and other FAA approved documents, as well as adherence to OSHA requirements.
Responsible for updating communication boards, employee cross-training matrices, and other relevant information for the assigned area.
Assist with and provide input with regards to recruiting, hiring, training, development, evaluate employee performance, and promotions, transfers, and corrective actions.
May be asked to act as Repair Station Manager in their absence.
Responsible for customer return incoming area, internal communication, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely disposition of product returns and exchanges.
Maintain and manage a database of all product returns and exchanges.
Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
