Title: Data Analyst/Report Writer I:

Job Description:

This position will support two critical statewide data development projects. Analysts should be familiar with ArcGIS Pro desktop software and GIS editing and analysis principles. Staff will provide analysis skills to complete two statewide datasets, client's Bridge Polygon, and 3D elevation dataset and client's ROW Footprint dataset. This position will conduct analysis, perform editing, quality assurance, and report progress and status of data development efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Create, maintain, and update GIS databases, cartographic products
• Develop workflows and standard operating procedures for data development projects
• May utilize ArcGIS Online and Portal for ArcGIS to create, maintain, update feature services and web maps/dashboards
• Applied knowledge of Esri web app suites including Experience builder, Field Apps, Dashboard, Survey123, Web App Builder, and Story Maps is a major plus.
• Excellent opportunity for on-the-job training and learning of web-based GIS systems.
• Staff at this level are expected to have 1-3 years of experience of applied GIS in a professional or educational environment.
• Applicants should have knowledge of commonly used GIS concepts, practices, and procedures.

Qualifications:

Minimum Years Skills/Experience:

• 2yrs Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) editing, analysis, or visualization.
• 1yr Experience working in a collaborative editing environment.

Preferred Years Skills/Experience:

• 1yr Experience using the Esri ArcGIS Online Environment.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
