About the Team
The global Monetization Integrity team ensures TikTok users have a safe experience while viewing advertisements. They work closely with advertisers to create ad policies, manage content review processes, and more. As we continue to add advertising on TikTok, this team is critical in assuring a joyful and creative ads experience for the community.

About the Role
The Global Risk Manager will lead the Risk Management function within the Policy and Risk pillar of the Monetization Integrity business.
The mission of the Risk Management team is to develop and implement strategies and capabilities to control emerging risk across the ecosystem, ensuring a safe and trustworthy ads experience for TikTok users. The leader will manage a global team responsible for an end-to-end approach to policy development, governance strategy, and metric optimization, with two primary functions: proactive risk investigation and reactive risk response.
The global team they lead will be responsible for risk control and policy management, leveraging risk expertise and analytical capabilities to support business growth by developing specialized policies and creating risk control mechanisms.

Responsibilities:
- Own MI's responsibility for risk control and policy management accountability.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, protocols, and policies at scale to reduce risk.
- Develop and track risk KPIs across teams; work to ensure alignment of multiple stakeholders across Product, Policy, Engineering, Strategy, and Sales; work together to implement solutions.
- Serve as primary point of contact to provide ad-hoc and regular risk investigations support to stakeholders in Product, Policy, Engineering, Strategy, and Sales.
- Lead the incident response team, managing the timely resolution of cases escalated through external or internal channels, ensuring TikTok users have a safe and quality experience while viewing advertisements.
- Lead several specific teams responsible for the management of actor risk, ecommerce risk, content risk, etc.
- Responsible for monitoring all platform pre/post posting content risk and emerging risks from new apps and AIGC, ensuring adherence to content guidelines, and assuring implementation performance of the after-conversion experience and low-quality content.
- Coach and develop direct reports; support performance management.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in trust & safety policy or risk management, particularly within the digital advertising domain.
- Considerable experience leading a team of people managers and senior ICs.
- Extensive experience conducting complex analyses and translating the results into action.
- Experience in and/or demonstrable knowledge of domains such as risk, payments, ecommerce, information security, and/or online advertising.
- Strong communication and influencing skills across teams and regions; able to find win-win solutions that align with cross-functional partners' objectives while mitigating risks.
- Strong and demonstrable systems thinking skills.
Preferred Qualification:
- Experience with SQL or Python is preferred.
