Scope of Job

Responsibilities will consist of assisting in all aspects of athletics marketing including but not limited to:

• Oversee marketing efforts for select sports and serve a secondary role in revenue-producing sports.

• Assist with digital marketing campaigns including email, social media, and digital advertising.

• Creation and execution of gameday scripts and end-game presentation assets.

• Design and distribution of all marketing collateral and promotions.

• Development and implementation of marketing strategies to increase exposure, boost attendance, and enhance the gameday experience at assigned home events.

• Assist in management of day-to-day office responsibilities as assigned.

• Manage and increase participation in the student section - The Herd.

• Manage assigned student staff.

• Assist in the development of a football game day experience.

• Manage UTRGV's presence at community events.

Discipline Specific Required Qualifications

● Currently enrolled and in good standing
in a graduate degree program at
UTRGV .
● Strong communication skills (both oral
and in writing).
● Attention to detail.
