Job Summary:
This position will primarily support one (or more) faculty or professional staff members in the Department of Public Health & Preventive Medicine. Duties will be dependent upon the specific skills and experiences of the successful applicant, but may include: Conducting formal or informal literature reviews of the public health, medical or other scholarly literature; Assistance with submission of administrative forms related to research and scholarship; example: grant applications and progress reports; Editing and drafting text, figures, diagrams, and graphics for scientific reports and presentations; Assisting with grading, Brightspace, or other course management functions appropriate for a teaching assistant; Management and analysis of quantitative or qualitative data; Other research duties related to public health studies or evaluation processes; General office work. The position will be expected to work 20 hours per week.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be a current student enrolled in a graduate program at Upstate Medical University.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous grant experience preferred.
