Job Summary:

The Graduate Teaching Assistant participates in the delivery of didactic and clinical curriculum. The position assists faculty with delivery and maintenance of the laboratory. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

You Will Be Responsible For:

Demonstrates behaviors at AdventHealth University in harmony with AHU's "Four Words" of Nurture, Excellence, Spirituality, and Stewardship as well as AdventHealth's Performance Standards of "Keep Me Safe, Love Me, Make it Easy, and Own It."
  • Assists Graduate faculty with the instruction in a laboratory setting
  • U nder the guidance of the Graduate Department faculty, develops and delives lectures in the core didactic course
  • Mentors first-year graduate students.
  • Helps faculty with grading and preparation.
  • Performs other departmental duties as assigned


Qualifications
What You Will Need:

Required:
  • Current acceptance as an AHU student
  • Bachelor degree in area they will assist in.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with college administration, faculty, staff and students
  • Organizational Skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
