Hardware Compliance Technical Program Manager
Sunnyvale, California
As a HW Compliance Technical Program Manager within the Hardware Compliance Engineering organization, you will partner with an experienced cross-functional team across engineering, product management, operations and legal teams to drive the implementation of our compliance plan. You will have technical expertise in the compliance and certification processes and be responsible for overseeing wireless, safety, and industry compliance activities and process. This role involves coordinating with external certification bodies and testing laboratories to ensure Amazon products meet global compliance standards. Your contributions will span the entire product design lifecycle-from concept to sustaining. You will help ensure that the groundbreaking products we build are safe and compliant for global markets.
You will anticipate bottlenecks, drive risk and escalation management, make data-driven tradeoffs, and balance customer and business needs versus technical constraints. The ability to absorb inputs from stakeholders, develop cohesive plans, identify risks, and then prioritize and deliver them in a successful and timely manner is critical in this role. You will clearly communicate goals, requirements, risk, and timelines to internal cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

* Deliver programs in a fast-paced and often uncertain environment, while demonstrating leadership, technical competence, and strong communication skills.
* Develop and document processes to continually improve efficiency and reduce complexity in operations.
