The mission of the Lone Wolf program is to support, operate, and maintain the Distributed Continuity Integrated Network - Top Secret Enterprise Services (DCIN-TS ES) which is a DoD-provided, TS/SCI, integrated voice, video, and data, global communications network that facilitates collaboration among senior leaders and key staff. Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Software Test Engineer include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Test all hardware, including new features, enhancements, and fixes for bugs and defects.
  • Work with hardware vendors to determine the next generation of devices before they reach end of life.
  • Configure and test STIGs for functionality on IT systems.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies.
  • Design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met.
  • Write, implement, and report status of test cases to program government leads.
  • Track test execution milestones and report on issues and risks having the potential to affect project timelines.
  • Serve as subject matter specialist providing testing expertise for support of user requirements of complex to highly complex hardware applications.
  • Develop, release, and maintain test procedures.
  • Demonstrate creativity and foresight by identifying, preparing, and presenting detailed technical reports and briefings on new concepts and technical directions impacting programs/projects, and defining future technology requirements.
  • Collaborate with other engineers in the planning, design, development, and testing of new technologies.
  • Evaluate alternative courses of action and make recommendations based on sound research.
  • Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios

  • DoD 8140 IAT baseIine certification: Security+ CE certification or equivalent Windows 10 certification - MCSA or Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (MDAA)
  • Experience in testing software in a DoD or Intelligence Community environment
  • Collaborate with software test engineers and other stakeholders to address any and all compatibility concerns
  • Experience with configuration management and software release cycles
  • Proficiency in testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Ability to adapt to changing technology
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint.
  • Exceptional attention to detail; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organizational skills; critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Clearance Required:
  • Must have active Top-Secret clearance with SCI or SCI eligibility

Minimum Education:
  • High School Diploma

Minimum Years of Experience:
  • 3-5 years of Experience

Preferred:
  • Possess or have ability to obtain Certified Third Party Risk Professional (CTPRP) certification
  • Ability to obtain MS 98-365: Windows Server Administration Fundamentals certification
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows 2019 Server, Microsoft Windows 10 and 11,
  • Microsoft Exchange, SQL, Active Directory, Microsoft Office 2019, KMS, DNS, WSUS, group policies, PKI, SharePoint, MECM, and deploying workstation images
  • Familiarity with VMware virtualization, Commvault data backups/restores, Trellix antivirus software, Kiwi Syslog Server, ACAS, Splunk, RHEL, Citrix, Dell Wyse Management Suite, and thin or zero clients
