A successful candidate should be a journeyman level engineer. You should have the engineering knowledge to understand promising autonomous technology and learn quickly about advanced concepts. You must have the ability to create visual materials, technical illustrations, and diagrams using Microsoft PowerPoint and graphic design software. You should also be innovative with work processes. You must also be able to travel approximately 25% of the time and surge during key periods of activity, which will even out at other times.

Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:

Test Engineering:

• Provide test management support, to include planning and oversight of all test and evaluation activities.
• Integrate test activities and funding into program schedules and budgets.
• Develop test strategies, test plans, test reports, and related documents.
• Oversee contractor and government test activities.
• Provide test engineering in the planning, coordination, execution, analysis, and reporting of all test and evaluation activities.
• Provide integrated engineering support for design reviews, test strategy development, test planning working groups, and other similar test related forums.
• Design, develop, and execute test programs and processes to assess the military utility of the Government's programs.
• Create and review test engineering documentation and packages to include test plans, flight certifications, technical and safety reviews, data analysis and reporting plans, test readiness reviews, and test cards and similar test execution documents.
• Oversee execution of complex test events in accordance with test engineering documentation and packages, to include lab, chamber, open air range, and modeling and simulation test events.

• Evaluate complex test data in accordance with test engineering documentation and packages.
• Create test reports and presentations for Government decision makers.

Program Management Support:

• Support the government team with expertise in Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process and aviation, strike, and Joint operations.
• Assist the program manager in tracking the cost, schedule, and performance of program performers.
• Prepare briefings and, when needed, attend on behalf of the program manager to ensure maximum engagement between the program manager's team and DoD leadership.
• Understand complex technical and operational information and implications and synthesize it effectively for various audiences and purposes.
• Analyze potential programmatic decisions and provide clear concise advice on tradeoffs and implications of decisions and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• An ABET-Accredited Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering.
• 8+ years of Test Process Experience.
• 3 years of Operational Experience with Joint Operations.
• 2 years of Experience with the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) Process.
• U.S. Citizenship

Highly Desirable Skills:

• Additional degree in a Business Field.
• Operational experience with strike aircraft.
• Military Test Pilot School Graduate or Military Weapons School Graduate.

Clearance Requirements:

• Top Secret, with SCI and SAP eligibility.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

• This is a hybrid position requiring one or more days per week in classified spaces and teleworking otherwise.
• Approximately 25% travel is required to government and industry locations.
