Amazon Prime Video is seeking a dynamic and innovative Head of Brand for Prime Video Sports. This critical leadership role is responsible for shaping and driving the brand strategy for Prime Video's sports offerings. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a passion for sports and a proven track record in brand management, particularly in digital media and entertainment. As the Head of Brand, you will play a critical role in defining the brand's voice, positioning, and messaging strategy to elevate Prime Video Sports as the premier destination for live sports streaming. You will work closely with creative leadership to bring to life a vibrant and ownable brand expression that breaks through, is forward-thinking and dynamically scalable. Additionally, this role will be depended on to forecast and plan marketing communications in order to best leverage strategic opportunities for the brand.

Key job responsibilities

• \tBrand Strategy & Vision: Develop and execute a comprehensive brand strategy for Prime Video Sports, aligning with the broader Prime Video and Amazon brand ethos.

• \tTeam Leadership: Guide and inspire a cross-functional team of brand managers, creative professionals, and marketers to deliver breakthrough brand thinking, expressions and experiences.

• \tGlobal Brand Positioning: Establish and maintain a consistent global brand identity, ensuring that Prime Video Sports resonates with audiences across diverse markets.

• \tCreative Excellence: Lead the development of all brand creative, including advertising, digital content and experiential marketing initiatives and ensure everything ladders up to a holistic strategic brand vision.

• \tStakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including the content, live production, product and PR teams, to ensure brand alignment across all touchpoints.

• \tConsumer Insights & Analytics: Leverage consumer insights, data, and analytics to inform brand strategy and optimize campaign performance.

• \tPartnerships & Collaborations: Forge and manage key partnerships with sports leagues, teams, and influencers as needed to amplify the Prime Video Sports brand.

• \tCommunications Planning: Effectively forecast and plan marketing communications for to near and long-term planning.

• \tInnovation & Growth: Stay ahead of industry trends and continuously seek innovative ways to enhance the Prime Video Sports brand, driving growth and market share.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

- 10+ years of experience in brand management, marketing, or a related field, with a significant focus on sports or entertainment.

- Proven leadership experience, including managing large teams and complex projects.

- Strong understanding of global brand strategy and execution.

- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and external partners.

- Natural problem-solver with the ability to remove blockers and navigate ambiguity.

- Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable brand strategies.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- MBA or advanced degree in Marketing or Business.

- Experience working with or within a major sports brand, league, or digital media company.

- Track record of successful brand building in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

- Passion for sports and deep understanding of sports fan behavior.

- Experience with digital and social media marketing, including influencer marketing.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $153,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $252,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
