Job Summary

We are looking for a Global Director of Sales for our private equity business segment, to drive our P.E team globally and scale that organization and its revenue to the next level. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting a sales strategy and supporting the team of Account Executives and Sales Managers across our Private Equity Business.

Responsibilities

  • Own all plans and strategies for developing our Private Equity business and achieving the company's sales goals.
  • Establish the inbound lead requirements needed to meet your sales objectives.
  • Establish and foster partnerships and relationships with key customers both externally and internally.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team to meet and exceed revenue goals.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and drive growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other departments to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
  • Implement effective sales processes and tools to streamline operations and maximize efficiency.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline management to senior management.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the sales organization.
  • Stay current on industry developments, best practices, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Provide full visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of development.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant sales experience including management of Account Executive functions and a track record of exceeding quota.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, and an ability to coach others on them.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Strength in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Strong leadership and team building skills.
  • Demonstrated success in consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals over an extended period.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans that align with overall business objectives, driving sustainable growth and market expansion.

Education/Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field required.
