A Snapshot of Your Day
The Head of New Unit Sales - Americas for Compression Business will be responsible for leading the New Unit client-facing sales team in the Americas region. The role will involve developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve business objectives, managing key accounts, and building strong relationships with customers. The role will also involve developing people and building leaders within the sales team.
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Develop, nurture, and implement sales strategies to achieve CP business targets
  • Manage key accounts and build strong relationships with customers, including effectively handling exceptions and customer escalations
  • Lead the sales team in the Americas region
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of market and industry trends
  • Drive collaboration and coordination with all involved functions in bid management, operations, and project execution to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance to senior management, with a strong focus on profitability, decarb business share, and forecasting accuracy
  • Develop people within the sales team and build future leaders
  • Promote a strong culture of ownership and accountability within the sales team
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business administration or similar relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales or proposals or project management. Those with more experience may be considered for a more senior level.
  • Minimum of 3 years of team leadership experience.
  • Experience in the compression business is preferred.
  • Strong demonstrated leadership skills and ability to motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication, networking, and collaboration skills; fluency in English is required.
  • A demonstrated service mentality and customer empathy are essential.
  • The candidate should be well-structured, analytical, results-oriented, paired with organizational skills.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

This job may be based in Olean, New York or Painted Post, New York. Siemens Energy offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay. The base salary range for this position in Olean or Painted Post, New York is $150,000 - $225,000.

Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, certifications, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.
