A Snapshot of Your Day

Your role as the Finance Head of Sales and Project Management (Americas) is steering the financial and risk management oversight of Compression. As a trusted advisor to the Head of Sales and Project Management for the Americas, and a key figure in the CP Finance Team.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Lead, mentor and guide a team of commercial sales managers and commercial project managers
  • Ensure the establishment of clear, consistent, and timely financial information, structuring reporting to guarantee visibility and high-quality financials, including accurate forecasting.
  • Be responsible for maintaining the integrity of books and records, and for an effective Risk Management and Internal Control System
  • Internal stakeholder management within CP in Americas and with corporate department stakeholders like taxes, financing, accounting, treasury/ guarantee, legal and claim management
  • Apply your expertise in commercial bid and sales management as well as commercial project execution. Leading commercial negotiations with key customers during the sales and project execution phase
  • Govern all relevant commercial processes/tools and take an active role in creating/improving and supporting operational excellence.
What You Bring
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, or a related field; a master's degree in similar subject areas is a plus.
  • Over 8+ years of relevant experience with a broad financial background in sales and project-related functions is a must, with growing levels of responsibility.
  • International experience, with intercultural sensitivity and a proven track record of working effectively with teams.
  • You must be fluent in English, and fluency in Spanish or Portuguese are a definite plus.
  • A track record of developing teams and improving processes and tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to inspire your team and stakeholders in the business!
  • The ability to translate complex business and financial issues into easily understandable terms.
  • A team-oriented and results-focused approach, with strong analytical and organizational skills. You must have robust change management and leadership skills to develop and successfully implement strategic plans.
  • Availability for domestic and international travel as required by the job.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
