Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in Strategy and Operations or a related field.
  • Experience working with accounts, building and launching global processes, identifying and driving best practices, and creating global standardization.
  • Experience building and launching new organizations and working with the executive level in a global organization.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience defining and building complex strategies and partnerships to accelerate business growth and drive operational improvement.
  • Experience at a management consulting firm, investment bank or in a corporate strategy, business operations or business planning function at a large firm.
  • Experience launching or scaling Go-to-Market organizations and working cross-functionally.
  • Experience leading enterprise-level projects and programs at a Cloud Services Provider or Digital Native organization, with an understanding of Cloud technologies.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders in a boardroom environment, manage without authority, and work in a fast growing and ambiguous environment.


About the job

As the Head of Operations, Strategic Accounts, you will lead the strategic priorities, long term goals and outcomes for Google Cloud's largest and important accounts. You will contribute to Google through the establishment of best practices, account planning and unlocking significant amounts of business growth and market share. You will work closely with the regional sales teams to build pipelines and convert business.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$261,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Define strategic priorities, long-term goals, scope, resourcing, and outcomes for Strategic Accounts.
  • Define best practices, processes, and customer journey for Strategic Accounts and build a plan to expand the number of strategic accounts.
  • Define, improve, and execute processes for executive engagement requests and briefings while working with cross-functional teams including building and running roadshows.
  • Create and run a global community for Strategic Account Key Account Directors and Customer Engineers (e.g., build programs to advocate for the key account community, drive recognition programs, partner with enablement teams on programs designed to up-skill the team and provide forums for critical business enablement).
  • Serve in the global community (e.g., building a communications strategy and running town halls, and developing a point of view for the General Manager, Strategic Accounts).
