Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in strategy and operations, or a similar field.
  • Experience creating insights using business analytics, and presenting findings/recommendations to executives.
  • Experience initiating and executing projects and operational processes.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with spreadsheets, SQL, and other investigative tools.
  • Experience with organizational design, headcount, and budget planning and management.
  • Experience leading enterprise-level projects and programs at a Cloud Services Provider or Digital Native organization.
  • Experience working in a management consulting firm, investment bank, corporate strategy, business operations, or business planning function at a large firm.
  • Ability to be comfortable working in a fast growing, dynamic, and often ambiguous environment.

As a Head of Strategic Accounts, you will be part of a team responsible for building out our Strategic Accounts strategy and helping our customers to adopt Google technology. You will play an important role to the achievement of Google's mission to better serve our customers and requires someone who can bridge Regional Sales, and Global overlays and pave the way forward for Google Cloud and our largest customers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $221,000-$314,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Understand the large account customer journey and how to fix the issues along the way.
  • Build out the Strategic Accounts value proposition across resource coverage, marketing, commercial structure, priority access, and engineering dedication.
  • Define the partnership with Regional sales, Regional Chief Operating Officers, Strategic Pursuits, and Strategic Pursuits Chief Operating Officers.
  • Build key metrics and support dashboard creation and rhythm of business.
  • Work with products and business to deploy fixes to key pain points in the customer journey (e.g., technical documentation, demos, customer examples).
