Head Tennis Professional

Coaching and Instruction:
  • Provide private and group tennis lessons to players of all ages and skill levels.
  • Assist Sports Director in implementing training programs for junior and adult players.
  • Ensure that all coaching adheres to best practices and the latest teaching methodologies.

Work with Sports Director to design, promote, and oversee all tennis programs, including clinics, camps, leagues, and social events.

  • Assist Sports Director with tournaments and competitions.
  • Develop strategies to attract and retain members through engaging and innovative tennis programs.
  • Assist with training and managing assistant tennis professionals and support staff.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
  • Provide performance evaluations and feedback to coaching staff.
  • Oversee the maintenance and scheduling of tennis courts and equipment.
  • Ensure that the facility is clean, safe, and welcoming for all users.
  • Coordinate with facility management for any repairs or improvements needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all members and guests.
  • Address any concerns or feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive tennis community.
  • Maintain accurate records of lessons, program participation, and membership statistics.
  • Assist in marketing and promotional activities for the tennis programs.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in tennis coaching and sports management.
  • Attend relevant workshops, conferences, and certification courses.

Qualifications:


  • Certified by a recognized tennis coaching organization (e.g., USPTA, PTR).
  • Must have liability insurance
  • Extensive experience in tennis coaching, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
