In order to qualify for the GS-13, you must meet the following: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one year (52 weeks) of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal government, obtained in either the private or public sector, to include: (1) developing or modifying consumer-facing content and user experiences related to health communications programs; AND (2) developing techniques or approaches to improve efficiency or effectiveness of health communications; AND (3) managing communication projects related to health care programs.

- Plan, develop, direct, implement, and evaluate content for multiple communication channels, including CMS' public websites, to educate consumers about CMS programs.
- Provide advice, guidance, and assistance for internal and external communication products for beneficiary and consumer education and information.
