Summary

The Youth Regional Treatment Center (YRTC) Program Director is responsible, with commensurate authority, for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the program and for working closely with the Area Director, Behavioral Health Consultant and YRTC Clinical Director in assuring that the YRTC philosophy and treatment modalities are implemented as well as, directing and evaluating all aspects of the program. Position reports to the Behavioral Health Consultant.

Duties

  • Provide overall leadership and direction for all processional and support personnel within the treatment.
  • Manage a high clinical intensity residential treatment program.
  • Provide oversight to a Business Office and Contract Health Service Program.
  • Plan, direct, evaluate and revise functional administrative/management areas of the clinical services.
  • Develop organizational budgets and provide financial management expertise to the Business Office.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with local, regional and national government agencies and schools.
  • Ensure all staff maintain pertinent training and credentials.

To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.

You must meet the Minimum Qualifications stated below.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the private or public sector) performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Overseeing and coordinating all aspects in the health care administration and health program design and functions to serve comprehensive health care delivery systems, such as providing inpatient substance abuse and alcohol treatment to youth. Providing a continuum of care, including preventive and aftercare services. Working with facility management, facility licensure, budget, procurement issues, developing and implementing policies and procedures and personnel issues.

This credited service can be used in determining the rate at which they earn annual leave.
