Kenworth Northeast is currently looking for its next Heavy Duty Truck Sales Representative for our Smithfield, RI location. We need someone with a proven history in sales and relationship building. You could be selling a premiere truck brand with the support of a dealership built to provide customers with end-to-end sales, parts, and service solutions.

*Annual salary of $30,000 - $60,000 plus commission*

How You Will Make an Impact:
  • Manage and grow relationships with owner operators and fleets of all sizes to maximize sales in your territory, calling on prospects and assigned accounts
  • Stay current on market trends to provide solutions that meet customer needs
  • Identify and profile prospects with a strategy to secure new business
  • Cross-sell dealership services to meet the full spectrum of customer needs
  • Partner with internal departments to identify appropriate solutions for customer issue resolution
  • Stay ahead of industry and marketplace trends to be the go-to source of information for your customers
  • Maintain sales records and report on phases of activity
  • Coordinate with outside parts and service sales to achieve full market penetration
  • Maintain open lines of communication with all departments regarding customer needs

What You Will Need:
  • An inherent drive to sell products you believe in
  • Knowledge of industry services, products, and marketing techniques
  • Direct sales or truck experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Experience dealing with the public in a sales/service capacity
  • High energy level and positive attitude
  • Minimum of a Class B Drivers License / Willingness to obtain a Class B
