THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION.

Why does the job exist?
This position will work within the Workforce Planning Division to assist with the programming for the statewide internship program. The position will assist in organizing and facilitating programming.
How does it get done?
Duties the intern will perform include:
*Assist with tracking of program participation progress
* Outreach and communication with intern consortium
* Collaborate with agency staff to prepare materials
* Assist in the development of content to promote the statewide internship program
Who are the customers?
State agency employees, interns and constituents of New Mexico
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
* Written and verbal communication skills
* Organizational skills
* Ability to problem solve
* Willingness to learn
* Computer skills including utilization of word processing software
Minimum Qualification
Current enrollment in High School curriculum or GED/HiSET education program OR High School Graduate or successful completion of GED or HiSET within the last two (2) years.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office setting, located in the Willie Ortiz building. Exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT), extensive personal computer and phone usage with extended periods of sitting. Some standing, bending, and reaching may be required.
