Title - Health Information Technician / Medical Records

Location - Rochester MI, 48307

Pay - 18 to 22 an hour based on prior experience, weekly pay

*Contract role for 4 weeks*

Shift:

M-F, 7am-3:30pm (1st Week - Training)

Monday - Friday, 2:30pm - 11pm (Post-Training)

The HIM Technician performs clerical/technical duties associated with medical records processes and procedures. This could include the retrieval, preparation, scanning, imagining, filing, quality review and indexing of paper documents. The HIM Technician is skilled with operating equipment and with the detailed technical aspects of their assigned duties.

Overview of the role:

• Scanning/Imaging medical records
• DNFB/DNFC Assistance
• Retrieval of documents
• Reconciliation of accounts
• Registry Maintenance
• Indexing

3-5 Qualifications:

• Proven technical abilities (comfortable using a computer, scanning machine, navigating between multiple applications)
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Strong Attention to Detail
• Proven track record of strong work ethic
• Comfortable in a fast paced environment
• Proven track record of hitting goals in the workplace

Nice to Have Skills:

• Medical Records Experience
• Medical Terminology
• Previous Admin & Clerical Experience
