Position Summary: The Quality Assurance Specialist (QAS) is responsible for conducting phone monitoring sessions with clients and Family Caregivers during their designated service times. This role ensures compliance with company and Department on Aging rules, regulations, and standards.

Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM |Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Essential Duties:
  • Conduct a minimum of one phone monitoring session per month for each Family Caregiver to verify their presence during the designated service time.
  • Maintain compliance with all company and Department on Aging rules, regulations, and standards.
  • Complete a minimum of 100 calls daily.
  • Prepare and complete accurate evaluation reports and case notes as needed.
  • Maintain schedules to ensure timely completion of all assigned calls.
  • Attend monthly branch meetings in office.
  • Always maintain a high degree of confidentiality due to access to sensitive information.
  • Ensure regular, predictable, and consistent attendance, and be flexible to meet the needs of the department.
  • Follow all Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA regulations and requirements.
  • Adhere to all company regulations, policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements & Competencies:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working in the field of senior services or a related social service field.
  • CNA certificate and license preferred, or similar training.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and handle high call volumes.
  • Client-focused and customer service-driven.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and insurance for travel within the branch service area.
