Addus Homecare is searching for a Vice President of Sales and Marketing to support the Home Health Division. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership skills to manage all aspects of organization marketing including managing the members of the marketing team, establishing, and maintaining positive relationships with internal/external customers and referral sources, responding to customer requests and concerns, and negotiating service contracts with managed care organizations, government agencies, and other payers.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. Master's Degree preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in a business development or marketing and sales leadership role within the healthcare, long-term care, and/or home health industry.
  • At least 3 years of experience supervising marketing and sales teams, preferably in healthcare, long-term care, and/or home health industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel.
  • Ability to market aggressively and deal tactfully with customers and the community.
  • Knowledge of corporate business management.
  • Demonstrates good communication skills, negotiation skills, and public relations skills.
  • Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
  • Must have reliable transportation, current driver's license, and appropriate automobile insurance.

What You'll Do:
  • Directs all daily marketing operations including providing direct oversight of the establishment and implementation of marketing initiatives.
  • Assures that team members understand and adheres to all laws, statutes and regulations regarding anti-kickback, lawful marketing activities (gifts and services), patient solicitation, and accurate marketing materials.
  • Ensures maximum third-party reimbursement through effective negotiation of service contracts with managed care organizations, government agencies, and other payers.
  • Assists the Vice President/Executive Director/Administrator in establishing organization volume projections in the annual budget and in establishing allocations for the marketing department.
  • Monitors allocation of resources according to budgetary limitations.
  • Continuously conducts market assessments and develops a comprehensive marketing plan designed to meet budgetary volume projections.
  • Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with current and potential referral and payer sources.
  • Maintains comprehensive working knowledge Addus HomeCare markets including government agencies, major payer groups, key referral sources, and competitor's market positioning.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop business development assessments and strategic plans for all lines of business, ensuring continued growth of the organization.
  • Manage all functions related to business development, including sales, sales training, marketing, marketing communications, and branding.
  • Lead the creative process to ensure our collateral, web site, social media, and other marketing communications are consistent with the brand and communication standards.
  • Provides leadership for Sales and Marketing team members, including hiring, sales training, strategy, incentive plan development, market research, branding, collateral development, and managed care relationships.
  • Oversee and manage the business development and clinical intake teams.
  • Travel across our service areas to collaborate with leadership, skilled nursing and Addus branches, with some overnight stays required.
