As a CNA in the acute rehab setting, you will assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and mobility exercises, under the supervision of nursing staff. Your role involves providing basic care, monitoring patients' vital signs, assisting with rehabilitation exercises, and maintaining a clean and organized environment to support patient recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
  
• Taking and recording vital signs such as temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiratory rate accurately and timely.
  
• Assisting healthcare providers with various medical procedures and treatments, including dressing changes, catheter care, and specimen collection.
  
• Observing patients for any signs of distress, discomfort, or changes in condition, and promptly reporting findings to the nursing staff.
  
• Assisting in the maintenance of a clean and sanitary environment, including changing linens, cleaning patient rooms, and disinfecting equipment, to help prevent the spread of infections.
  

Qualifications:

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensure in Virginia.
  
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a CNA
  
• BLS certification required
  
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  
• Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and clinical priorities.
