The role you'll contribute:

Under the general supervision of the EVS Manager, duties include but are not limited to: Supervisory responsibilities, Housekeeper responsibilities, and other duties as assigned. Responsible for proper chemical usage and maintaining a safe environment, including the use of floor signs and drying fans as well as the storage of chemicals and equipment. The EVS Supervisor will actively participate in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all, while implementing the principles of AdventHealth. Environmental Services is on-site and available seven days a week, as well as holidays.

• Plans, organizes, and monitors the workflow of the team.
• Completes employee evaluations for review and presentation.
• Discusses problems and counsels with employees as necessary.
• Assist, when needed, with scheduling and assignment of duties to provide adequate staffing
• Observes the physical condition of the hospital and calls engineering for the maintenance repairs needed throughout the facility.

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :

• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) minimum
• Able to communicate in English
