Description

If you are selected as the Human Resources Associate in Houston, Texas, you will provide general personnel administrative and technical support to the Global Mobility Human Resources (HR) team both in Houston and Bartlesville.

An essential component of this role is to maintain confidential information and data. You will be required to work both under direction and independently, so a high degree of individual ownership is required to be successful in this role.

In addition, you must be proficient in SAP and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint), and be prepared to learn new technologies as required. Proficiency with Workday is a plus.

Your responsibilities may include:

* Providing general support to the Global Mobility team (and other members of the global HR organization) as required on various personnel-related activities including updating data, preparing reports and analysis of data, and preparing meetings for people discussions.

* Providing specific Global Mobility team support as it relates to the personnel activities associated with cross border and domestic relocations.

* Coordinating benefits and onboarding activities for payroll transferees

* Processing various, and occasionally complex, HR related system actions via SAP (Org Management and Personnel Action)

* Working closely with HR Shared Services, Compensation, Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition and Talent Development on various HR activities

* Participation in special projects as required, for example development series, testing new HR technology, etc.

* Using various IT-based systems: MS Office, Workforce Planning & Metrics (WP&M), SpotFire, Staffing Express, Career Express, Oracle Data Warehouse, SharePoint, Cross-Application Timesheet (CATS), etc.

* Running various reports from SAP, i.e. work schedules, headcounts, overtime, monthly downloads

* Handling and auditing annual data reviews and audits of the data

* Serving as Document Records Coordinator

* Preparing Affirmative Action Plans

* Partnering with recruiters and Pre-employment Due Diligence (PEDD) associates on obtaining new hire/intern information and clearance

* Processing invoices and expense reports

* General administrative support as required, including booking meeting rooms, organizing catering, etc.

Qualifications:

* 5+ years of experience in a human resources role and/or another administrative role with transferrable skills

* Intermediate proficiency (perform the skill with limited assistance) with Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint

* Ability to uphold the highest confidentiality standards in working with sensitive personnel information

Preferred:

* Associate degree or higher in Business Administration, Human Resources or related discipline or foreign equivalent

* Proficient with SAP

* Proficient with Workday

* Proficient with SpotFire and Power BI

* Proficient with Data Warehouse
