Our healthcare client is looking for a remote, contract (w2) HR Knowledge Management Lead to start with them this July:

Stanford Health Care seeks a strategic and results-oriented HR Knowledge Management Lead to spearhead a new approach to capturing, sharing, and leveraging knowledge that focuses on developing and implementing the decentralization of knowledge management to HR Centers of Excellence (COEs). In this critical role, you will lead a shift away from centralized knowledge silos and empower HR COEs to manage their own knowledge articles, ensuring collective knowledge, expertise and best practices are captured, organized and made accessible. This role will empower the COEs to become knowledge hubs within their respective domains, fostering a collaborative and learning-centered HR environment, thereby driving efficiency, consistency and collaboration across HR.

Shifts Available: Days- 8 hours. 40 hours/week

Hours/Days: 8 am. - 5 p.m.; Monday - Friday

Work Location: Fully Remote; anywhere in the US. Working PST hours.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Partner with HR COE leaders to introduce new ways of working for decentralized knowledge management, including review and updates for all relevant knowledge
  • Work with content owners to complete knowledge updates in current operational state to prepare for handoff to COEs
  • Lead the design of tools and templates (e.g., article quality checklists, publishing workflows) and facilitate workshops to equip COE members with the skills and knowledge to effectively manage knowledge within their domains
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to equip COE members with the skills and tools necessary to effectively manage knowledge within their domains.
  • In partnership with the ServiceNow Product Manager, establish best practices and frameworks for knowledge creation, curation, ownership, governance, and overall health of HR knowledge bases within the COEs.
  • Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration within and between HR COEs.
  • Develop and analyze knowledge utilization metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and measure the impact of decentralized knowledge management initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends in decentralized knowledge management and identify opportunities to enhance HR's knowledge-sharing capabilities.
  • Contribute to the implementation, improvement and maintenance of knowledge management processes and tools


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Knowledge Management, Information Science, or a related field.

Required Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in knowledge management, content management, or information organization, with a focus on collaborative or decentralized approaches.
• Strong understanding of knowledge management principles and methodologies, particularly as they apply to a decentralized model.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse teams.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate training programs and workshops.
• Proficiency in knowledge management tools and collaborative platforms.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful insights.
• Experience working in a Human Resources environment is a plus.
• A proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented individual with a passion for fostering knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Working knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, particularly the Knowledge Management application
• Experience developing and implementing knowledge management strategies in a decentralized environment.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $57.75 to $62 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
