HR Project Manager I

Join the In-N-Out Burger Family! We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time HR Project Manager 1 based in our Irvine, CA office .

This person will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating HR projects that are critical to our company's success! Reporting to the Project Manager of Associate Initiatives, you will lead and manage both external projects and high-priority internal initiatives, ensuring they are executed successfully from start to finish.

This role is based full-time in office.

General Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee projects, coordinating the needs of multiple customers and stakeholders while ensuring alignment with company goals. Ensure clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Lead and manage external projects and high-priority internal initiatives, ensuring successful execution from start to finish. Provide clear leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring timelines, resources, and scope are effectively managed from kick-off to completion.
• Lead and coordinate meetings, update project progress through various platforms (e.g., email, Slack, Asana, Jira), and proactively address any issues or roadblocks.
• Work closely with Technical Leads to identify potential technical issues, provide necessary support, and communicate technical details clearly to the entire project team.
• Collaborate with vendors and project managers to manage essential documentation (e.g., NDA, SOW, RFI) and ensure internal team preparedness for external engagements.
• Oversee internal labor budgets and work closely with vendors to monitor financial budgets, offering recommendations to improve efficiency.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered to a high standard, complying with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
• Create rollout materials and presentations for training sessions and update meetings.
• Oversee and drive change initiatives within projects, ensuring that modifications are communicated clearly and implemented seamlessly to minimize disruption to ongoing operations.

Work Schedule + Benefits

• Full-time, Hourly, Non-Exempt
• Office Hours in Irvine, CA: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m.
• Hourly Pay Range: $33.00 - $38.00
• The above represents the expected hourly range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we will consider your experience and other job-related factors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• Project Management Certificate (CAPM) is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in Human Resources.
• 2+ years of experience in project management, with a demonstrated ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and vendors. HR project management experience highly preferred.
• Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking skills, with a proven ability to drive projects to completion.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with stakeholders at all levels and ensuring clear, consistent communication.
• Problem-solving and analytical abilities, with experience in budget management and making recommendations that improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Proven ability to lead meetings, coordinate teams, and deliver positive outcomes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
• Experience with Jira, SharePoint, Confluence or Asana is highly preferred.
