General Statement of Duties

Successful candidate will be responsible for the general supervision of a high school cheer leading program.

Essential Duties

• Provides overall supervision of a high school cheer program
• Coordinates the purchase and management of team supplies, accessories, and uniforms
• Coordinates the ordering of fundraising/spirit-boosting materials
• Assists with planning of pep rally assemblies
• Supports the mental and physical welfare of cheerleaders
• Manages cheerleader tryouts
• Manages and supervises fundraising activities for summer camp and other cheering events
• Coordinates and organizes team practice sessions
• Ensures accurate and transparent financial record-keeping
• Manages a team of assistant cheer coaches
• Supports the scholastic well-being of cheerleaders by setting high academic expectations

Minimum Qualifications

Background and experience coaching public school cheer programs required.
