Job Duties

Serves as a member of the Health Services Talent Acquisition team providing quality customer service and support to internal and external customers in the Eastern Region.
Provides HR related functions to ensure a positive culture and effective customer service in all areas of Human Resources. Ensures accurate, efficient administration of recruitment operational processes to include screening employment applications, scheduling interviews, engaging with potential candidates, hiring managers and peers to support filling vacancies across the agency. Assists with administrative processes such as monitoring mailboxes, assessing needs of customer requests, creating and obtaining information in order to successfully onboard employees. Assists with weekly vacancy list preparation and provides daily support to all HR Coordinators and Recruiters working with active recruitments to ensure positions are filled timely. These support activities include Scheduling interviews with the hiring panel and candidates. Assistance with coordinating pre-employment activities related to background appointments and drug testing; Communicating in writing with candidates sharing information regarding the position such as the Employee Work Profile, Physical Demands, and Authority of Release prior to interviews; Initiating pay requests, background and reference checks (via DocuSign); Assisting with building a recruitment file (manually/electronically) for all new hires.

Minimum Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent.

Demonstrated administrative experience involving the performance of various office services support.

Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and DOC policies and procedures related to Human Resources.

Demonstrated ability to apply and interpret personnel policies and guidelines,

Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to convey information to others.

Ability to engage with diverse groups of managers, employees, and general public.

Ability to organize work and complete tasks in a timely, accurate and complete manner.

Skilled in tracking information and multi-task and meet deadlines.

Ability to work in a self-directed manner as part of a collaborative team.

Knowledge of the principles for providing quality customer service.

Additional Considerations

Experience working in a human resources environment.

Experience working with Applicant Tracking systems, HRIS systems.

Working knowledge of recruitment processes.

Associates degree or coursework in business, office practices and procedures, and automated business applications.
