Position Summary

Provides consultation and guidance to managers and associates to support employment satisfaction and performance success. Ensures human resources activities are carried out in accordance with federal and state regulations/law and Goodwill policies and procedures.

Essential Duties (Other duties within the scope of this position may be assigned.)

1. Maintains timely and effective communication with managers, supervisors and associates regarding their needs to include counseling employees and managers on job related issues.

2. Conducts investigations and makes recommendations based on findings by providing problem resolution through policies and procedures and through interpretation of Harassment, Corporate Compliance, Equal Employment Opportunity, etc.

3. Ensures legal compliance and timely reporting of issues related to Unemployment Insurance Claims, EEOC claims, OFCCP and DOL inquiries, W/C hearing and FML. Provides informed expert advice on HR policies, ensuring uniform standards are maintained and compliance requirements are met.

4. Implement and maintain efficient reports that present key measures and trends - HR Dashboard.

5. Manages HR related projects as business needs are identified.

6. Oversight and analysis of HR processes and reports such as UIC, FML, WC, LOA, AAP, 60 day new hire and manager surveys, Turnover and Retention data.

7. Assists in creating, implementing and training of programs to promote HR related policies, practices, and procedures.

8. Provides HR training to new managers.

9. Partners with Workforce and Managers to provide associate supports when they are faced with challenges that prevents them from bringing their best self to work.

Supervisory Responsibilities

The associate in this position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Education/Experience/Certificates/Security Clearance

• High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

• 1-3 Years' experience in a related field required.

• SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.

• Valid state driver's license, insurance and satisfactory driving record are required.

• Associates in this position will be required to successfully pass both state and federal criminal background checks and sex offender check.

• Ability to operate PC and databases, proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
