As a Human Resources Manager for Student Affairs at University of Pittsburgh you will play a pivotal role in supporting our mission to foster a vibrant and inclusive student and staff community. This position will report to the Associate Director of Administration. Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the goals of Student Affairs to attract, develop, and retain top talent. Oversee all aspects of the HR function within Student Affairs, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, employee relations, roster management, leaves of absences, salary increase process, and GSA management. Collaborate closely with department heads and directors to understand staffing needs and provide strategic HR guidance. Contribute to the development and execution of the Division of Student Affairs' strategic HR initiatives. Ensure compliance with University policies and regulations related to Human Resources. Conduct regular assessments of HR policies and procedures to ensure they meet the evolving needs of our diverse workforce. Serve as a resource and advisor to employees on HR-related matters, promoting a positive and supportive work environment. Ensure adherence to federal, state, and institutional employment laws and regulations. Runs the biweekly and monthly payroll to ensure timecards were submitted timely and correct. Track and analyze HR metrics. Maintains records and databases for all personnel.
