Job Duties

Provides repair, maintenance, and service of HVAC systems according to building codes and standards. Conducts routine inspections. Purchases supplies for mechanical, heating, air-conditioning, plumbing, electrical systems, and building maintenance. Supervises, assigns work and trains supervisees work crews on repairs and/or maintenance to HVAC and refrigeration equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent. Working knowledge of the installation, repair, and maintenance practices for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. Demonstrated skill in the use of tools and supplies related to the trade. Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise the work of others. Demonstrated ability to keep narrative and statistical records relating to the maintenance and repair of equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prefer knowledge in web based HVAC control systems. Prefer EPA Type 1 and Type 2 CFC refrigeration license. Prefer knowledge in VAV boxes and controllers. Prefer knowledge in mini-split system, split systems, and package units. Prefer multiple trades' experience.
