Indotronix is seeking a Hybrid-Lead Java Developer in Pittsburgh, PA and multiple client tech hub locations

Position: Lead Java Developer

Position Location:

Hybrid in tech hubs, listed below in order of most preferred - 3 days in office, 2 remote

Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Birmingham, AL, Farmers Branch, TX, Phoenix AZ

Duration: 12 Months

Ability to work remote: Yes, 2 days a week

Acceptable time zone(s): must be able to work EST/CST hours

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Traditional work set, not Agile

- Attend daily standup

- Working in 2 week sprints

- Lots of collaboration with various lines of business

- Spending a lot of time interacting with vendor and their supports as well for proper integration

- Mission critical support is to the vendor

Must Have Technical Skills: listed in order of most important:

1. Experience in maintaining and developing software in production (installing and upgrading application software, applying security patches)

2. Docker

3. Java/J2EE/Springboot

4. API design/development

5. JDBC connections/integrations

6. Linux scripting knowledge

7. OAuth authentications - Rest API

Flex Skills/Nice to Have:

Hadoop basic understanding

PostgreSQL

Python

Soft Skills:

Previous leadership experience, understand requirements without help, hit the ground running, attention to detail, excellent communication across teams, team player, self-starter

Education Required:

Required bachelor's degree in Engineering or a technical field

Years of experience:

Level 4 7 years and up
