About the Role: Our Industrial Solutions Filtration Business Team is seeking a talented and innovative CAD Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to the development of advanced filter bag, cartridge and catalytic modules and other technologies that improve the environmental compliance and performance of our industrial filtration customers air pollution control equipment.

This role will be located at our facility in Elkton, Maryland.

Responsibilities:
  • Create and modify custom Computer-Aided Design (CAD) drawings for various global projects related to filter bag, cartridge and catalytic module for us in the Minerals, Metals, Chemicals, Energy and Incineration Market segments.
  • Collaborate closely with field sales engineers, applications engineers, design manufacturing teams, supply chain and customer service associates to provide input on unique filtration designs
  • Utilize CAD/CAM software to develop and optimize product designs
  • Work on diverse projects, potentially including new technology development other innovative applications
  • Contribute to the design of new product designs or improvement of existing ones
  • Ensure designs meet quality standards and manufacturing requirements.
  • Communicate design needs to manufacturing and supply chain team
  • Ability to take system measurement and create 2D and future state 3D views


Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Proficiency in CAD software and CAD/CAM applications
  • Minimum 2 years experience working with industrial equipment and designs
  • Experience with 3D modeling and design optimization
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability principles
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to travel 5%
