Secret Network Design Engineer

A client of Insight Global is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to support their team out of Linthicum, MD. The Sr. Network Engineer will be the sole point of contact for a number of smaller Air Gapped networks consisting of about 40 PCs, so they must have prior experience owning all facets of networking. He/she will also assist the Lead Network Engineer in the management of 2 larger data centers onsite. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the health of the system and managing any network fixes that come up, in addition to future design and implementations.

Compensation: $65/hr. -- 98/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Required Skills & Experience

LCAT: Bachelors Degree & 7+ years of experience within Network Design, Implementation & Maintenance (can substitute YOE for BS Degree)
IAM Level 1 Certification (CAP, CND, CLOUD+, GSLC, SEC+, CASP+, CISM)
Active Secret Clearance (Top Secret preferred)
Strong experience translating requirements into network diagrams and architecting network solutions for small to mid-sized environments
Experience designing, maintaining, and implementing LAN & WAN based classified networks
Strong experience installing, configuring, monitoring & troubleshooting issues within Cisco routers/switches, Palo Alto and ASA firewalls, Cisco CallManager, etc.
Experience configuring network monitoring tools such as Wireshark, Nessus, Solarwinds or Splunk

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Prior experience working with Juniper products
COMSEC/Crypto experience
