Job Description

An Industrial Engineer Intern is responsible for completing the following duties:
  • Identify areas of manufacturing process improvements
  • Develop proposals for changes in the manufacturing process which include cost analysis and justifications
  • Assist in developing proposals for management
  • Evaluate new technology and recommend equipment that will improve manufacturing processes and/or reduce costs
  • Work with the Production Managers to establish layout drawings for the most efficient manufacturing processes
  • Be familiar with shop capabilities and communicate to engineering so we are designing our equipment in a manner that can be most efficiently manufactured
  • Frequent time studies as needed
  • Assisting the Quality Department as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related study
