The essential job responsibilities of the Industrial Gas Service Representative position are to test, repair, install and adjust various types of industrial metering and regulating equipment and industrial gas utilization equipment, including control mechanisms.

Qualification Requirements:
To perform the Industrial Gas Service Representative role, you must:
-Successfully complete NIMS Training within one year of entering job -Have skills in utility operation and metering -Have skills in gas regulator repair -Have skills in plumbing and pipe fitting -Have a current Industrial Gas Service Representative Qualification Certification -Successfully complete physical abilities test -Successfully complete Color Blind Test I
-Successfully complete Placement/Performance Exercises
-Have a valid driver's license from state of residence

Physical Working Conditions:
Works inside and outside under fair conditions. Subject to stand-b-duty and hazards of fire or explosion, high pressure gas, falls, working around new construction, electrical shock, asphyxiation, heavy lifting, standing/walking for extended periods, climbing ladders/stairs, and working in uncomfortable positions.
