Industrial Maintenance Technician

Location: Harbor Springs, MI

Join our dynamic team as an Industrial Maintenance Technician! You'll perform preventive maintenance, support shop equipment, and handle facility needs. Ideal candidates have experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance, especially with CNC machinery and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machinery
• Work with electrical systems (24-600 VDC, 120-480 VAC)
• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment
• Manage equipment parts and supplies
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment

Qualifications:

• Industrial manufacturing maintenance experience required
• CNC experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance preferred
• Experience working with CNC Controls is preferred. Troubleshooting CNC issues on Fanuc, Siemens and Mitsubishi drive control systems would be a definite asset
• Manufacturing experience a plus
• Proven ability to work independently and self-manage
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read and write

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Exposure to Mechanical Machines: Constant exposure to moving mechanical machines and parts. The noise level is usually loud to moderate within the plant.
• Indoor and Outdoor Work: Both indoor and outdoor work are required.
• Physical Activities: Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, grasp, climb, and balance.
• Lifting Requirements: Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Vision Requirements: Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less), distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors), peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point), depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships), and the ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus).
